FDA Flavor Ban

In January 2020, the FDA made a decisive move to impact the vaping industry under the guise of "protecting" our children. Certainly a laughable ploy to regulate a 3.5 billion dollar marketplace. Initially, the ban is 100% geared towards the pre-filled cartridge sector (like the Juul Pods) but does not include the disposables market or the juice industry. But there's more...

In May 2020 the FDA has threatened to revisit the ban and possibly extend it to other ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems) in an attempt to curb use by young adults and teens. All the while legislators attack the vape industry from behind the scenes. The future of vaping is certainly unstable right now with several States issuing total bans on all flavors, except menthol and tobacco - while others impose strict regulation and heavy taxation. Oddly, the issues are not divided by party lines - rather greedy politicians and tobacco lobbyists with an agenda.

The sad truth is that vaping saves lives and our politicians and legislators don't seem to care.

Let me know what you think and post what's news in your area. I'd love to hear from you.
